What to expect.

A quick orientation so you show up ready for the water.

Getting Here

We meet at MacRae's of Homosassa, 5300 S Cherokee Way, Homosassa, FL. If we're launching somewhere else, your guide will contact you with directions — at the latest, the day before your trip.

What's Provided

All rods, reels, tackle, bait, lures, and your Florida fishing license. Water and ice are aboard, and we clean, fillet, and bag your catch.

What To Bring

Hat, polarized sunglasses, and non-spray sunscreen, comfortable clothes and shoes, any snacks or drinks, and a camera. Bring a small cooler for cleaned fish on nearshore trips. Dress in layers.

What is your cancellation policy?

Once your trip is booked and you've received a confirmation email, you're held to a 30-day cancellation policy. Cancel more than 30 days out for a full refund or a no-charge reschedule. Cancel within 30 days and you may lose your deposit or full payment, depending on circumstances. If weather or unsafe conditions force a cancellation, we'll reschedule or refund in full. Things happen — just give us as much notice as you can.

When will my guide contact me about my trip?

Your guide will contact you at the latest the day before your trip.

Where will we be meeting?

5300 S Cherokee Way, Homosassa, FL — MacRae's Bait House. If we're putting in somewhere else, your guide will contact you with further instructions.

Can we bring our own gear?

For sure — just let your guide know in advance so he has room in the boat.

Do we need to bring water?

No need — your guide will have water on board. Feel free to bring any other snacks or drinks you'd like.

Do I need a fishing license?

No. Your Florida saltwater fishing license is included for every angler on the boat.
